Grant Writer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team. As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in grant writing and a proven track record of securing grants. This is a remote position.

Duties:
- Research potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other sources
- Write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals that align with the organization's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with program managers and finance team to gather necessary information for grant proposals
- Develop and maintain relationships with funders and grant-making organizations
- Monitor and track progress of submitted grants and provide regular updates to management
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for grant-funded programs
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in grant writing

Skills:
- Proficiency in Raiser's Edge or similar donor management software
- Strong proposal writing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Experience working with databases to track grants and donor information
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies
- Excellent strategic planning abilities to identify funding opportunities
- Strong research skills to gather relevant data for grant proposals
- Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content
- Experience in technical writing, particularly financial report writing
