Grain Elevator Supervisor

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, safety, repair & maintenance, grain handling, inventory quality, housekeeping, efficiency, employee training, reporting, and customer service.  Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.  This position is physically demanding and often includes hands-on work.

Works closely with district supervisor to assist them in planning, directing, and coordinating operations and maintenance for the company’s warehouse facilities including compliance with state and federal safety and regulatory requirements. 

Implements company policy and procedures through warehouse personnel.  Receives, inspects, stores, and ships grain products. Manages inventories and storage space to meet receiving/shipping schedules.   Performs all functions related to handling and storing grain.  Maintains facilities and equipment to assure the efficient and safe handling of products.  Performs repairs as needed.  Oversees and assists with general repair and maintenance.  Completes and maintains records as required.  Supervises and provides specific work direction and training for warehousemen and harvest personnel assigned to the district.
