Under direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager III of the Data Governance & Research Branch, within the Research, Evaluation and Data Insights Program, the Graduate Student Assistant will assist with research, data entry, data clean-up, and/or technical duties related to the coordination of research projects surrounding operational business practices and staffing resources. The incumbent will assist senior research experts in research planning and execution efforts on priority projects. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have a strong data and research background.

Working Conditions
- DSH is located at a new 11 floor high rise building at 1215 O Street.
- A majority of the essential functions of this position may be performed via telework and/or with flexible scheduling. Consistent with Policy Directive 5338, Telework may be considered with prior approval from management. If approved, incumbent is expected to provide in-office coverage on a rotational basis, and attend a variety of face-to-face meetings, and up to 10% travel throughout California as needed, with prior notice.
