Job Summary
Introba is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Designer to join our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team in Oakland, CA.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Mechanical Lead with electrical design responsibilities for government, commercial, educational, residential, recreational, and/or industrial project types.
- Gain knowledge of various aspects of the profession, such as, design, constructability, documentation and scheduling over time.
- Attending client meetings with project leads to discuss the design requirements and to present design options for new constructions and/or alterations.
- Assisting project lead with design analyses of various types
- Interacting with other Designers, Architects, and MEP engineers, and other specialty consulting disciplines to exchange ideas, perform coordination and provide information on project status
- Supporting the project team with activities such as site visits, preparing field reports, assisting with reviews of submittals, requests for information and design support
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus in design and technology
- Summer internship or other architectural firm experience valued
- High degree of proficiency in REVIT highly desired
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way
- Attitude of learning and collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical and design excellence
- Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges
- Desire and ability to enjoy working on a large variety of building typologies of differing scales and scopes
Additional Information
Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $59,500 - $89,300 annually for this position and local market.
