Grading Assistant

Kumon of Springfield is seeking qualified candidates for the position of assistant/grader.Kumon assistants grade students math and reading assignments during class, help manage students time in center, grade and organize work flow and communicate to directors.This position reports to business managers Kelsey Bennington and Nick Hasler.

Assistants are asked to perform other duties, including checking in and preparing student work, providing students with appropriate guidance, and helping to maintain a clean and organized classroom. This is a great opportunity for the right person, with potential for growth.

- This is a part-time position and class hours are: Monday/Thursday from 3-7:00 pm.

- Candidate must enjoy working with children and be passionate about helping them master the fundamentals of math and reading.

- Candidate must demonstrate initiative, be flexible and patient, and have the ability to multi-task.

- Candidate must behave professionally when interacting with students, parents, and other staff.

-Background check will be required.

- Training provided.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Mondays and Thursdays. Compensation is $14.00 - $16.00/hour.
