The Graphics Product Validation organization delivers high quality and predictable GPUs for visual, gaming and machine-learning experiences. Within this organization is the Power and Performance team that checks Intel's integrated and discrete GPU products run with the best performance and power efficiency. We evaluate performance at the leading edge, provide reference data to other labs, and feedback on product positioning for power efficiency and raw performance. Additionally, several "what-if" scenarios are tested for power or performance impacts related to architecture, product cost, and software changes that could affect current and future product competitiveness.
As a GPU Validation Intern you will help develop the test environment and automation capabilities by working with senior engineers to gather requirements, understand the test flows, generate plugins for new capabilities and work with web front ends to create data reports. During code development, you would be able to work hands-on with the latest pre-release graphics products to verify changes and features work in the lab environment and make an appreciable improvement to the test flow.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar STEM degree, and 3+ months experience in all of the following:

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
