Our Validation Applications Team is looking for a talented Power Electronics student to join our team this Summer as a Validation Applications Engineer in our Milpitas office.
Our team works on Power Management ICs for Automotive Products, focusing on silicon bench validation of Analog and Digital IPs. The successful candidate will work directly with the Validation Applications team Manager and talented Applications Engineers, who during the internship will provide daily on-site support.
An intern working with our team can expect to learn how a Power Management unit will be validated for a full Automotive Product platform, including an SoC/MCU interaction to accomplish all Functional Safety and Auto Grade standards.

Requirements:
- Education: Minimum enrolled Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Knowledge of power management applications (PMICs)
- Python programming knowledge, with particular use for lab automation hardware environments
- Development with Microcontroller and System on Chip, with embedded systems engineering
- Basic knowledge of probing and characterizing silicon using a mixture of custom-made and standard equipment such as power supplies, digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity within multisite and multicultural environments
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
