Vita Inclinata is looking for a dynamic, dependable Government Relations Representative to support our growing team with federal initiatives in DC. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of federal affairs, legislative branches and appropriation processes. The Government Relations Representative is expected to create and cultivate strong relationships with staff members on the hill to drive the goals and vision of Vita Inclinata.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Supports federal government affairs strategy to set the agenda with the executive and legislative branches, and other government regulatory agencies as needed.
- Effectively educate Members of Congress, agency officials, and their staff on policy priorities, including but not limited to managing programs for federal appropriations initiatives. Defense appropriations are a plus.
- Regularly attend after hours events and gatherings to spread the message about the Company and the Company’s priorities.
- Work collaboratively with our business, policy teams, and other internal operations teams to ensure alignment between business priorities
- Serve as an effective advocate for Vita Inclinata and our customers on key policy matters and craft position that will establish the company as a thought leader and innovator.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory activities and determine effects on company.
- Ability to work and communicate in a bi-partisan manner.

Requirements:Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and 1 to 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-years of relevant experience, including within government or private sector experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience creating and effectively delivering factual relevant, and easily understandable talking points and other messaging.
- Ability to maintain the highest personal levels of ethical conduct, confidentiality, and integrity.

- Executing strategies to optimize company and asset growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with prior experience in creating and delivering public presentations.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of organization and leadership.
Compensation
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation for this role is $50,000 – 70,000 per year however, Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
