Work you’ll do :
Requires Interim Secret or higher clearance
- Support the technical staff analyzing technical requirements, designing, and implementing software solution for the Modernization effort.
- This role involves working with the government agency to develop cloud strategies, identify and evaluate cloud applications and hardware, and organize cloud systems to meet the operational needs.
- The role also involves serving as a Google Cloud SME in support of the infrastructure build-out, management and maintenance of the cloud computing systems.
- In addition, the candidate will work closely with the technical lead and Agile teams as well as other engineers/architects to support the development of technical documents and other engineering artifacts for all products.
Responsibilities :
- Create and execute a strategy for Google Cloud that aligns with project’s business goals and objectives.
- Serve as a Google cloud SME
- Create and maintain a comprehensive documentation related to Google Cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Design and implement a cloud-based solutions that successfully meet the functional and technical requirements.
- Build and oversee the cloud systems, including servers, storage, performance and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the security SMEs in implementing security measures to protect the cloud-based systems and the transfer/storage of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
- Lead the adoption of new Google Cloud technologies and establish best practices.
- Oversee all aspects of the GCP environment, including provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
- Assist the project and interfacing teams with resolving technical project issues.
- Support the development of technical documentation including, but not limited to architectural artifacts, ICD, SDS, etc. to guide future development effort.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least five years' architecting Google Cloud Solutions
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you support.
Preferred:
- Professional Google Cloud Architect Certification
