Palm Aire Country Club is nestled within the Palm Aire Community sitting on the Manatee/Sarasota county line in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. We are a privately-owned equity Country Club with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where members consider themselves part of the Palm Aire Family.
Central to our club are our two beautiful and challenging 18-hole championship golf courses. The Champions Course, designed by renowned architect Dick Wilson and The Lakes Course designed by famed architect, Joe Lee. The Champions course tee-to-green renovation was recently completed with a new short game area.
Our superior Country Club is one of the largest in the greater Sarasota area. Located just minutes from downtown Sarasota, the regions beautiful gulf beaches and virtually adjacent to the Mall at University Town Center, Palm Aire Country Club provides a perfect location for living the good life.
Palm Aire Country Club is seeking a full-time Golf Shop Attendant. We are ideally seeking an entry level Assistant Golf Pro who is a personable, motivated individual, looking to continue their professional education while being part of a team that provides exceptional customer service to our members and guests.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Golf Shop is the heart of PACC’s golf activities and is the home base for our members and their guests to book and schedule golf tee times, buy and schedule lessons and purchase the latest merchandise.
The Golf Shop Attendant provides courteous, friendly, prompt attention to all members and guests to ensure a memorable experience with every interaction. This person will be detail-oriented to acquire and provide product knowledge and information, assist in the promotion of programs and assist the golf services team in all operatives as it pertains to the effective operation of all golf services.
The Golf Shop attendant will work closely with the team to ensure seamless service to our member-centric operation and for all golf related operations and communications. Services include: opening and closing the pro shop, member relations/interaction, golf cart staging, practice areas, booking tee times, course play, tournaments and event planning, lessons & clinics, selling merchandise and keeping the pro shop stocked.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS
- Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations and tournament operations.
- Strong computer skills, familiarity with ClubEssential and Golf Genius Tournament Software a plus. We are willing to train the right person.
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- Quality written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
