Astor Creek Country Club is seeking Golf Shop Associates to join our team!
Astor Creek Country Club is located on the Treasure Coast, in Port St. Lucie, one of the fastest growing cities in Florida. The Club features a signature 18-hole golf course designed to provide a blend of challenge, tranquility, and playability. Plans for the complete golf experience include a Pro Shop, 15-acre driving range, 3-acre short game complex, and a 15,000 sq. ft. practice putting green. The Club will also feature a fitness facility, sports courts, dining options, Sports Bar, and a resort-style pool.
Pay $12 - $13 an hour

Job purpose
Provide Members and guests with gracious hospitality and knowledgeable Golf shop assistance.
Duties and responsibilities
- Accurately reserve tee times and register members and club guests.
- Ensure an accurate account of the transactions, collections, disbursements, daily reports, deposits and cash drawer/computer system.
- Complete daily opening and closing checklists as outlined in the Golf Manual.
- Perform merchandising duties.
- Assists Members and Guests with food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage selections, and makes recommendations
- Responsible for proper alcohol beverage service according to standards
- Prepares food and beverage items, serves to Members and Guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintains proper beverage and snack quality and service standards
- Performs daily set up, break down and is responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of food prep area
- Ensures a pleasant visit for each Member and Guest, develops, maintains and cultivates professional yet personal member relations
- Manage and sell Golf Shop merchandise to Members and club guests.
- Gather a working knowledge of the club?s policies and procedures in an effort to accurately inform the Members and club guests.
- Perform any requested administrative duties.
- Operate within all guidelines, policies, standards and constraints as established by Hampton Golf.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Two years of Golf Shop experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
