Position Summary
is seeking highly motivated, team oriented, enthusiastic individuals to help clean, move, and store Golf Cart fleet (63 carts) after daily play.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Afternoon/ evening shifts 7 days a week, including holidays
  • Maintain 63 golf course cart fleet
  • After completion of play, carts are moved to maintenance facility
  • Carts are emptied out and washed before securing in storage facility

  • Ability to perform the position responsibilities by reading the Player Assistant Manual, instruction from the Director of Golf, direction from staff professionals, and from on-the-job training
  • Ability to provide a level of customer service that meets or exceeds customer and employer expectations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and temperature extremes

Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in golf course operations
  • CPR, First Aid, or AED certifications
  • Fluency in Spanish, Hmong, Russian, Somali, Laotian or Vietnamese language(s)

Anticipated Work Schedule at Edinburgh USA: Positions are seasonal, non-benefited positions that will work afternoon or evening shifts, 7 days a week, including holidays. Flexible schedules welcome.

Regular, full-time City of Brooklyn Park employees (40 or more hours per week) are eligible for a benefits package including:
Vacation
  • New employees generally earn 10 days of vacation per year
  • Vacation accruals increase with longevity up to a maximum of 20 days per year
Sick Leave
  • Sick leave is accrued at the rate of 12 days per year with unlimited accumulation

  • 1 floating holiday to be used any day in the year with supervisor approval

Seasonal/Temporary employees
  • Temporary, Seasonal, and non-benefited part-time employees earn one hour of Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked by an employee, up to a maximum of 48 hours of Sick Leave per year.
