Job Summary:
Hiley Buick GMC is seeking an experienced and certified Service Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This individual will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining GM vehicles to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive systems, a passion for customer service, and a drive to continuously learn and improve their skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry with competitive compensation ranging from $25 to $45 per hour, paid weekly. In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for performance-based incentives, health benefits, and retirement planning options. Responsibilities:
- Utilize dealership diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose and repair GM vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on vehicles as needed
- Communicate with customers to understand their automotive needs and provide exceptional service
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all services performed and parts used
- Continually expand knowledge of GM vehicles and industry advancements
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members and provide support as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a GM Service Technician
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in automotive diagnostic systems and tools
- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
