As Vice President - Business Risk & Control Manager within the Global Technology Organization, our risk and controls professionals are passionate about information security and control solutions for the computing environments and technology workforce. In this role, you'll partner with one or more disciplines and lines of business to respond to evolving business requirements and emerging threats. You'll also leverage your expert knowledge of today's ever-changing risk landscape to influence business and IT operations across the firm. Responsibilities include offering guidance, best practices, and support across businesses, leading risk reviews and control assessments, identifying threats, communicating with senior leaders and other stakeholders, and managing budgets.
Job responsibilities
- Offer guidance, best practices, and support across businesses to drive awareness and understanding of the business and technology risk and controls framework and challenges to compliance
- Lead risk reviews and controls assessments, identifying threats, communicating with leaders and stakeholders
- Implement Technology and a business' approach for compliance with the firm’s operational risk management framework
- Serve as a point of contact for framework related inquiries as a trusted risk advisor and authority on application of the framework
- Advance the design of the business and technology risk and control framework for expression of the technology risk and control environment
- Work closely with various partners across the firm, including but not limited to colleagues in Enterprise Technology, Global Technology, Firmwide Common Processes, Information Risk Managers and Technologists in our Businesses and Corporate Functions, Operational Risk Management & Compliance, Audit, as well as regional partners across the globe
- Develop relationships with business executives and partner across organization lines to mitigate risks to accomplish common goals
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace environment and building/maintaining productive working relationships with all team members and stakeholders
- Function as a subject matter expert and advisor to all of Global Technology regarding requirements and approach to expression of the technology risk and control environment
