We are currently seeking a GPM&L Intern for Summer of 2024. This full-time position works for approximately or 37.5 hours per week.
The qualified candidate will supportinitiatives for Daiichi Sankyo Global R&D function GPM&L in the Strategy, Innovation & Operational Excellence Group. Initiatives include A&PM functional objectives and R&D non-drug development projects. Assignments will include basic understanding of Project Management skills, communications and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with PM lead to support project deliverables
Support the development of business communication materials
Create draft deliverables working in conjunction with business SMEs to drive completion in a timely manner
Collect and define requirements and develop models in Excel or Business Intelligence tools for project needs
Ability to define and document processes, critically analyze and define areas for improvement
Education/Experience:
Ability to effectively manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously, and communicate when competing priorities arise
Attention to detail with a focus on data quality
Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with global workforce
Comfortable in a hybrid work environment (ability to perform duties effectively whether virtual or on-site)
Proficiency with Project Management and Microsoft tools, e.g., Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Takes pride in delivering high quality work and is accountable for the outcomes
Seeks ways to continuously improve their work and the work of their team
Punctuality, professionalism, and strong time management
Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a concentration in science, business or related field preferred.
