Job Description
The Global OEM Sales Administrator works as a team member with his/her respective sales manager(s) by being a key customer contact from the point just after the salesperson has met with a new customer (or an existng customer on a new product program), through completion of the terms of sale.
Responsibility and Authority:
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Assure compliance to all required industry standards and government requirements as stated in the Ideal-Tridon Quality Manual, Quality Management System, process documentation and all Company Human Resources, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Has responsibility and authority for quoting/pricing/sampling, account management, and information activities for his/her assigned customer base within the guidelines of the authorized signature list.
• Maintain and protect all company, supplier, and customer proprietary and confidential information.
Essential Functions:
• Develop and maintain global administration process:
- PCR
- ESR
- ECR
- General sales samples
- Tooling/sample billing process
- Process or direct general customer inquiries
- Monthly sales download and reports
- Process credits and chargebacks in a timely manner
• Maintain consistent pricing for all global OEM customers and markets within Ideal-Tridon guidelines:
- Quoting process (working with multiple manufacturing facilities and currencies)
- Margin guidelines
- Authorized signature list
- Surcharge process
• Work in a team environment.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Support all customer and internal company departments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
• When necessary perform other typical duties.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred or equivalent education and experience. Three years minimum experience in sales/marketing administration. Must include pricing responsibilities.
• Computer software proficiency with traditional Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookup, etc.)
• Exceptional attention to details.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to "multi-task" effectively.
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and interpersonal.
• Positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Has dexterity to utilize computer equipment. Will sit or stand for extended periods of time. Will lift light to moderate weight objects (up to 30 pounds). Clearly communicates in both verbally and in writing. Requires travel to trade shows and customer locations. Maintain regular attendance and working required overtime sometimes without prior notice.
