Global It Infrastructure Solutions Architect

An IT Infrastructure Solution Architect will be responsible for evaluating innovative technical solutions to fulfill business demand/requirements, as Carmeuse continues through a digital transformation journey, enabling Industry 4.0 Applications.  This position will play a critical role in developing and overseeing Carmeuse's IT Infrastructure strategy through both cloud and on-premises technologies to strengthen digital operations.   The Infrastructure Solution Architect will work with stakeholders/leadership, engineers, and other Architects within Cyber, Operations (OT), and Technology Teams.   

• IT Network Architecture and Engineering (On-premises and Cloud).
• Designing High Level Design (HLD) Low Level Design (LLD).
• Continue Analyzing the technology environment.
• Provide hands-on technical capability to review and recommend new technologies and/or Cloud services, with a particular emphasis on the IT and OT environment.
• Establish reference architectures to adopt Multi-Cloud (Azure and AWS) services for IT and Manufacturing Workloads.
• Be responsible for developing standards to review product architecture integrations with on-premises and cloud solutions.
• Lead strategic technology projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be a recognized expert in IT Infrastructure (Server, Cloud, and Network) architecture and design.
• Participate & drive ARB (Architecture Review Board) from Infrastructure perspective.
• Explain requirements and associated risks to technical and non-technical people from expert level to upper management.
• Continually evaluate new technologies to drive stability, availability, and efficiencies to Business operations.
   

Requirements

• Must have relevant Infrastructure certifications- CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, SSL, CISSP, ITIL, COTS, PNSE, PKI, SANS, Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
• At least three (3) years' experience as a Network Architect - working with 24x7 critical systems following ITIL framework and in projects, working with stakeholders following structured methods.  Five (5) years preferred. 
• At least five (5) years' experience as network engineer.
• At least five (5) years' experience with various Vendors/Products: Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Checkpoint, Zscaler.
• At least three (3) years' experience with cloud platforms (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure). Five (5) years preferred.
• At least three (3) years' experience with Hyper-converged Infrastructure (HCI).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.  Master's degree preferred. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to simplify and explain complex technical topics.
• Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership.
• You have a strong affinity with digital transformation and demonstrated business skills with a strong understanding of large manufacturing organization.
• Knowledge of security architecture.
• Deeply understand the unique challenges involved with leveraging Cloud services within a manufacturing/OT environment, and how they differ from traditional IT environments.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).

Open to travel of up to 20%.
