- Collaborate with executive leadership for recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software components, including but not limited to Cisco routers and switches, Aruba Wireless, CheckPoint firewalls, and AWS transit gateways.
- Ensure network uptime, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of network issues.
- Implement network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and asset inventories.
- Generate regular reports on network performance and security metrics for management review.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of Network Infrastructure with other systems and applications.
- Communicate network status, issues, and improvements to stakeholders and executive management.
- Develop and maintain network disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure data and network availability during critical situations.
- Establish and enforce network standards, protocols, and best practices to ensure a consistent and secure network environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in network design, implementation, and management, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and emerging technologies.
- Understanding of subnetting, VLANs, routing protocols, and IP addressing.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Logic Monitor)
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
- Experience in configuring and managing firewalls (Cisco ASA, CheckPoint) and other security appliances.
- Understanding of network security principles, encryption, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches, including VLANs, ACLs, and QoS.
- Understanding of cloud networking principles and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with SD-WAN
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with service management (ITIL), including familiarity with ServiceNow
- Certifications - Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network +, CISSP, Checkpoint CCSA, CCSE, CCSM, Aruba ACSA are a plus
