It Bench Technician

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking anIT Bench Technician for our Depot location in Mechanicsburg, PA area. 

Position Overview:

As the IT Bench Technician you will use your knowledge of PC / Laptop hardware to build and repair computers for clients. Work efficiently and stay organized with customer satisfaction as your number one priority. 

• Work with Laptop/PC hardware build/ing and repairing.
• Complete Troubleshooting on Laptop / PC's .
• Work with efficiency and accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Setup and manage Active Directory and Google workspace accounts. 
• Image Chrome-books and laptops using a custom software and prepare for shipping.
• Shipping using UPS or FedEx systems.
• Receiving items and checking into systems based on client.
• Tracking status of items in transit.
• Occasionally deliver items to clients, using company vehicles.

• Imaging and Break/Fix experience.
• Asset Management Experience.
• Organization skills are a must. 
• Experience with Hardware and Software Troubleshooting.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• The ability to follow work rules and procedures, work independently and under pressure.
• Must have a strong work ethic, exceptional customer service skills and have a “can do” attitude.

Preferred Experience 

• Experience with Dell, Lenovo and HP
• Certifications are a Plus
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field.
