Job Description
Olsson is constantly thinking about new solutions and finding new ways to improve telecommunication design. As a GIS Technician on our Fort Worth Telecom team, you will provide assistance to engineers, use ArcMap, 3GIS, and NetDesigner software to perform design work and spatial analysis, create construction plan sets, conduct data collection activities, and model telecommunication networks in an asset management database. You may also travel to job sites for observation and/or field work, working in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

You bring to the team:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Associates degree in GIS, Georgraphy, Drafting, or related field preferred
- Prior experience with ArcMap; 3GIS or NetDesigner preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
