We are now looking for skilled Patient Care Technicians to join our team of accomplished and talented individuals. Join us in our aim to help people with disabilities reconstruct their lives with optimism, dignity, and hope, whether they are incapacitated temporarily or permanently.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the admission, transfer, and release of the patient
- Collects samples, transmits them to the designated department, and transfers them there
- Accomplishes and documents assignments (such as vital signs, blood glucose levels, meals, intake/output, and so on).
- Provides non-acutely ill patients with basic nursing care within the scope of the Nursing Assistant's practice, including activities to meet their physical and emotional needs.
- Assists medical professionals and nurses in examining and treating patients.
- Observes and report on the patient's condition and needs.
- Uses strategies appropriate to the patient's age and physical condition to assist patients with eating and maintaining fluid balance.
- Maintains equipment; ensures that it is clean and in good functioning condition; ensures that supplies are enough
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to undergo criminal and drug background check
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Attention to detail
- Ability to withstand work of a physical nature
- Maintains confidentiality at all times
- Must be 18 years old and above
- Proof of COVID vaccination
