What You Will Do:

• Support mapping and data analysis for renewable energy projects

• Develop, maintain, and update Geodatabases

• Perform complex GIS data analysis including site selection and suitability analysis

• Create high quality mapping products

• Support GIS Project Managers with mapping, data management and project tasks

• Collect field data for clients

• Support GIS users with technical support and training

What You Will Bring:

• Strong experience using Esri ArcGIS software: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online

• Experience with scripting in Arcade, Python, Esri Model Builder

• Knowledge and working experience with ArcGIS Server and similar RESTful map services

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Sound data management practices

• Familiarity with cartographic methods and ability to read and understand maps

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Cartography, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum of one year of professional experience in the GIS field

Our preferred candidate will have:

• Experience in the Renewable Energy industry

• Ability to read and interpret engineering record drawings

• Experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D to export/extract data

• Proficiency working in ArcGIS Online and Esri’s field solutions including ArcGIS Hub, Story Maps, Field Maps

• Experience working with database management systems; SQL Server and PostgreSQL

• Understanding of data intelligence and Geo Analytics

• GPS hardware for data collection
