REQUESTED DEGREE/CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- BA/BS degree in GIS, geography, geoscience, or a closely-related field.
- Must have at least four years of experience in a professional GIS environment.
- Must have experience with the ESRI platform, particularly ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Online. Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS for Server), ArcGIS Field Maps, and ArcGIS Publisher is preferred.
- Must have a familiarity with geodatabases and GPS devices.
- Must have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Must be flexible in working on unplanned projects and capable of meeting rushed deadlines.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update existing spatial data for CVE’s municipal clients. Data needs to be maintained in an organized, logical, and efficient manner. Utilize public-county resources to update parcel and other relevant data.
- Work with CVE staff to acquire, produce, and maintain data for clients and projects.
- Provide effective custom solutions for clients with varying needs and budgets.
- Balance a workload of long-term projects while performing short-term projects and tasks.
- Provide and update ArcReader maps for CVE staff and offsite clients. Manage ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Online content for clients with those capabilities.
- Manage data for various inspection programs, including those associated with the OEPA Phase II Stormwater Program, currently leveraging ArcGIS Online and Field Maps.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the latest GIS technology and information available through professional associations, training, etc. to deliver the most practical and efficient solutions to clients.
