Accounts Receivable Analyst

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is a key customer facing point of contact for Accounts Receivable matters. This individual should be prepared to reconcile open AR balances, which involves working with various internal departments to resolve billing disputes and correct processing issues. They will also need to access customer portals and export large amounts of data when resolving payment exceptions. The Accounts Receivable Senior Analyst will work across all lines of business within the company and interact with leadership teams from other departments on a regular basis.
Job Responsibilities (responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following)
* Dedicated expert and resource for the Accounts Receivable Specialist role. Assisting by answering process and procedure questions, assigning workflows, and by assuring accuracy.
* Account auditing, recommending process and system improvements, as necessary.
* Direct a bi-monthly review and analysis of customer account balances to ensure the proper billing, cash application, and collection activities are being performed in accordance with CVG's AR guidelines.
* Monitor Accounts Receivable aging reports, reconcile account balances, and research customer discrepancies.
* Contacting clients to resolve issues and facilitate payment for outstanding invoices while developing and maintaining customer relationships in a professional and effective manner.
* Ensure customer payments are being applied correctly to accounts and resolve unapplied cash issues.
* Use technology and data analytical skills to enhance and improve the delivery of job responsibilities.
* Identify patterns and pain points and make recommendations for areas of improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting.
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Execute all functions in adherence to company policies and controls.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
