Position Overview:

As a Generalist Backend Engineer, you'll play a vital role in enhancing our platform's capabilities and scalability. You'll collaborate closely with our team to build and update integrations with third-party data sources, optimize SQL queries, refactor backend code for accessibility and scalability, and handle tasks related to scaling the platform infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update integrations with third-party data sources using their public APIs.
• Optimize SQL queries for new features and improve current performance.
• Refactor backend code to enhance accessibility and scalability.
• Handle tasks related to scaling the platform infrastructure as needed.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Node.js and Express for backend development.
• Experience with data and analytics.
• Ability to write code daily and collaborate closely with the founders.
• Strong initiative and willingness to take ownership of projects.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehouse architecture.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and scaling solutions.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
