Backend Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Back End Developer to join our team. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. You will work closely with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Own architectural decisions and the technical build-out as we scale
• Build user-facing features on backend, improve performance and reliability
• Develop Mochi's backend systems: improve Mochi's patient record database, manage high web hook traffic, build on top of 3rd party integrations, patient scheduling and provider management software, distributed systems architecture, and growth experiments
• Improve engineering processes and tooling

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 - 5+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in React and Javascript
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud Platform
• Have worked on a code base at scale
• Bonus: Worked on healthcare related software before or passion for improving healthcare system.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
