SalaryWe are seeking a General Production Worker to assist with Job Staging. This position involves staging job tickets and the needed materials at the correct printing presses for the day’s work. Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Receiving, entering, labeling incoming stock into inventory. Returning unused or partially used material to the warehouse. And assisting with shipping, finishing, shop maintenance, and other miscellaneous production support duties where needed. Reports to the Production Manager. Job Responsibility Summary:
- Show up on time for scheduled shift and accurately punch in and out of the time clock.
- Read daily production schedule and pull all job tickets for the day.
- Pull needed materials from warehouse and bring them to the correct press.
- Return unused or partially used material back to the warehouse, relabeling as needed.
- Help unload incoming material off trucks.
- Cut shrink wrap off incoming pallets, enter rolls into inventory, label and put away.
- Slit material to size when needed using RotoFlex Slitter. (Training provided)
- Sweep warehouse & production area daily.
- Empty trash container and dumpsters daily.
- Operate forklift and order picker daily. (Training will be provided if not certified already).
- Help perform inventory counts.
- Assist production with sheeted jobs, shrink wrapping, making & packing boxes.
- Operate finishing equipment, such as standup rewinders & tabletop rewinders.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned without incident.
Required Education, Experience, & Knowledge:

Education/License/Credentials
- Required: High school or equivalent.
Related Experience
- Preferred: 2-5 years.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Required: Dependability – able to show up on time and ready to work.
- Required: Able to read, write, speak, and understand English language.
- Required: Strong organizational skills - able to maintain tidiness.
- Required: Self-motivated - able to work independently.

- Required: Willingness to be trained in operating a forklift and order picker.
- Required: Willingness to help in various areas of production, finishing, and shipping.
- Preferred: Prior experience with operating forklift and order pickers (Forklift Certified).

Shift
- Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm, overtime when required
Pay
- $22.00 - $24.00 hourly, depends on skills and experience
- Opportunity for monthly incentive bonus
