We are seeking a dedicated and organized General Office Assistant to join our mental health practice. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. The General Office Assistant will perform various administrative tasks, provide support to both our clients and clinicians, and contribute to creating a welcoming and compassionate environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
· Answer and direct phone calls and provide basic information to callers.
· Schedule client initial appointments and support clinicians with managing their appointment calendars.
· Handle general client inquiries, resolve routine issues, and direct more complex matters to appropriate staff.
· Manage and scheduling and processing of pre-employment psychological evaluations for public safety clients
· Maintain and update client records in compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
· Liaise with billing company in processing insurance claims and billing procedures.
· Manage office supplies and inventory, ordering as needed.
· Assist with filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
· Collaborate with other team members to support a synergistic and efficient work environment.
· Uphold our practice's commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive, and stigma-free atmosphere for clients seeking mental health services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
