JPO Concepts is a woman-owned and thriving NYC-based hospitality company is opening a New Hotel in NYC and is hiring for an experienced Food and Beverage General Manager.
This is a full-time, salaried position ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented individual looking to join a growing organization that is rapidly growing.
The Food and Beverage General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, cafe and in-room dining services. You will plan, organize, and direct all aspects of the food and beverage service, staffing, budgeting, and inventory management. You will also be responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing staff and scheduling shifts
- Coordinating food and beverage service with kitchen staff
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Budgeting and financial management of your staff
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues
- Building and maintaining relationships hotel management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of Food service management and industry trends
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- A valid Food Safety Manager certification is a plus.
