- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Establish trust by engaging with customers to determine sales needs - beyond just immediate needs - to uncover future needs and expansion opportunities.
- Consistently deliver a high-level customer service by building relationships to increase sales and maintain a professional industry network.
- Provide accurate reporting of various key performance indicators and understand customer experiences to make recommendations to sales departments in order to improve customer service and retention.
- Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools and/or processes that can be used to increase sales.
- Oversee all Distribution Center functions and workspaces.
- Act as the highest source of information at the Distribution Center for all warehouse, inventory, product concerns and standard procedures (for both employees and customers)
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff and acting as a liaison between the sales departments, operational departments, and executive management to ensure order fulfillment needs along with sales targets and customers' expectations are met.
- Proactively develop employees to achieve a high-performance level and manage cost and assets of the Distribution Center to achieve financial performance targets.
- Keep a safe and clean workspace at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business - Preferred.
- Computer literate and proficient with inventory catalogs and various Microsoft Office Suite products and Google software and programs.
- 5+ years of industry experience in the heavy-duty parts industry
- 3+ years of experience in supervisory/management position
- 3+ years of parts sales experience
- Proven track record in operations and customer service
- Works well under pressure and manages stressful situations with ease
- Strong customer service and salesmanship skills
- Ability to manage a P&L.
- Ability to calculate profit margins and other simple math functions.
- Excellent communication, externally and internally up and down the organization.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 75lbs occasionally.
