General Manager (Gm) - Cannabis

Sundae School is seeking a talented and versatile General Manager (GM) to join our Cannabis team. As a GM, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our cannabis product line. This position is both dynamic and challenging, offering you the opportunity to lead, manage, and contribute to various aspects of our startup's operations. The GM will serve as a crucial liaison between the CEO,COO and the rest of the team, contributing to the overall vision and strategy of the company.

• Strategy & Business Development:
  • Define go-to-market strategies for our cannabis product line
  • Develop Sales & Inventory Projections for existing markets, and work with sales agencies and production stakeholders in order to execute and optimize the strategy
  • Identify opportunities in new markets and comprehensively analyze cannabis industry and market trends.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead a cross-functional team to execute on the defined vision and strategy.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation for the cannabis division.
  • Oversee product development, business development, and marketing efforts.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
  • Communicate effectively with the CEO and COO and provide regular updates on progress.
• Problem Solving:
  • Identify challenges and opportunities within the cannabis industry and propose innovative solutions.
  • Make informed decisions to drive results and move the business forward.

• 4+ years of full time work experience - Proven experience in a leadership role within the cannabis industry or in CPG wholesale is a plus
• Strategic, Quantitative Problem Solver who are comfortable with handling the ever-changing landscape and fire drills of the Cannabis industry
• Strong background in managing cross-functional teams and achieving strategic goals.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of proposing and implementing solutions.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, accounting and budget management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to Sundae School's mission.
