General Manager, Gas Operations

Summary

The General Manager, Gas Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our natural gas assets, including production facilities, pipelines, and distribution networks. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of our natural gas infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of Gas Operations, safety protocols, and compliance with industry regulations.

Position Description

• Manage and oversee the operations of natural gas production facilities, pipelines, and distribution networks.
• Ensure the safety of all Gas Operations and compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the efficiency of natural gas production and distribution.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and identify areas for operational improvement.
• Develop and implement maintenance and asset management strategies to ensure equipment reliability.
• Manage emergency response plans and coordinate with relevant agencies in case of incidents.
• Lead and mentor a team of Natural Gas Schedulers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and manage the operations budget and ensure cost-effective operation.

Qualifications Continued

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or another relevant field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in natural Gas Operations or a related role, with a proven track record of successful management.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Advanced degree preferred.
