About Your Boat Club:
Our mission at Your Boat Club is to provide the absolute best, most fun and memorable experiences of boating. We aim to make a positive impact on our members’ attitudes while offering them all the great elements that are inclusive of the boating life! We strive to provide a safe and fun boating environment while taking away the hassles of boat ownership.
YBC was started by owners Luke Kujawa and Michael Jellish in December of 2009. The first location opened that following spring in the Southwest Metro on Prior Lake with just five boats. We sold out immediately and purchased four more slips from the marina for a total of nine boats. The concept was so popular that we expanded to Lake Minnetonka later that season by adding five more boats to our fleet. We more than doubled our sales projection of 50 members for the first season. In 2011 we expanded by adding three more locations: White Bear Lake, the St. Croix River and Gull Lake, while continuing to build upon the successes at Prior Lake and Lake Minnetonka. We quintupled our memberships in just our second year of business and have continued our rapid growth ever since.
Fast forward to today. YBC now has over 30 locations in MN, WI, IL and FL and is still growing. In addition to memberships, we also provide daily rentals and full marina services at many locations, adapting to our member, renter, and slip tenant needs. We even offer bike rentals, UTV/side x side and snowmobile rentals at some locations. Along with our unprecedented format of a boat club, we pride ourselves on making sure we do not oversell the club, to always provide great boat availability. The company philosophy is to keep existing members happy rather than find new ones every year. Our goal is to continue to “wow” our members with top notch service, fantastic boats and great availability while keeping boating fun and hassle-free. We employ seasonal help annually at various locations to help work with our boats, assist our members and renters, and provide help to slip tenants. We hire applicants who we believe will be “A” type employees: always friendly, professional, adaptable, who possess great customer service skills.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
Please note that if we decide to extend an offer to you, Your Boat Club will conduct a thorough background check.
