We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hotel General Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations for our hotel.
As the Hotel Manager, your goal is to effectively direct the daily operations of the hotel in a manner that will achieve our primary objective of creating a wonderful customer experience, driving sales, and achieving profit for the Hotel.
CANDIDATE PREREQUISTES:
- Overseeing HR matters, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, coaching/counseling, and performance management.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth.
- Establishing priorities and lead key operational initiatives such as the sales plan and budget development and execution of physical property improvement projects.
- Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients.
- Ability to lead, motivate & direct employees in a positive manner.
- Identifies and seeks out potential business in local market. Maintains relationships with local companies and key people to increase hotel's visibility within the local market.
- Inspects and documents repairs and cleanliness of property to ensure optimum upkeep and repair, room cleanliness and overall property appearance.
- Effective time management and delegation skills.
- Establish a positive environment for teamwork, productivity, and improvements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Five years related hospitality management experience.
- Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring.
- Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, proactive and possess excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, customer focused work environment.
- Proficiency in word, spreadsheets, and email.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
