Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Flint Engine Assembly on a full-time basis.
The Role :You will coach, train, develop and evaluate employees. You will provide assistance in analyzing and solving complex manufacturing problems, and assist in obtaining resources to effectively perform operations . Work involves a considerable amount of initiative in decision-making accompanied by a high level of independent discernment. Assists in the overall direction and coordination of manufacturing activities.
What You’ll Do :
- Nearly constant contact with others outside the work group
- Administers divisional and Corporate policies
- Meets cost, schedule and quality requirements
- Maintains Corporate and unit management control systems, budget and other information necessary to monitor performance in addition to maintaining safety and good housekeeping standards
- Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
- Assist in the forecasting of areas of responsibility and Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job or project
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
7 + yrs of automotive manufacturing leadership experience
Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Union Experience
Familiar with PTPM&C Data
Must be willing to work any shift
