General Maintenance Person

We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our properties. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our properties are both tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work.

• Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc.
• Install and/or repair necessary appliances and equipment as needed
• Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
• Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations
• Respond to tenant repairs
• Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a corporate setting
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
• Must be able to download time track app on your phone for job costing
• Must use our tenant payment app to receive maintenance requests

This job is very demanding in the different properties we have. You will be expected to complete work orders in a timely fashion and manage your time well. Most important you will have to decipher which work orders are most important. Please have plumbing experience and be very handy in the different things that come up within our properties on a daily and you would be on call for emergencies at night and the weekends.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
