Lead Counsel, Legal Investigations Responsibilities:
- Work with investigation teams to prevent abuses on Meta’s platforms and harm to users and others
- Conduct Legal Investigations, including targeted fact finding and legal risk analysis
- Develop risk-based recommendations to managing integrity-related legal risks
- Provide advice and counsel on integrity and security matters to investigators, engineers, and other partners
- Support the company’s efforts to advance integrity compliance and navigate an evolving legal risk landscape.
- Support and oversee information sharing efforts
Minimum Qualifications:
- J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 3+ years of legal experience
- Demonstrated history of working with direct and cross-functional teams to successfully build relationships and achieve goals
- Ability to think strategically to solve legal challenges under deadline pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the Stored Communications Act
- Experience in government investigations or tech investigations
