General Laborer/Plant Team - County Prestress

County Prestress, LLCmanufactures structural and architectural prestressed concrete components to meet the growing demand for infrastructure and large-scale commercial construction in the Midwest.We rely on our team of talented and determined people to provide reliable products with unmatched service.

We are seeking a Plant Team Member for our customer, County Prestress in Romeoville, IL.

Job Duties:

• Steel Fabrication
• Concrete placement
• Form set up/ tear down
• Bed preparation
• Pulling Strand
• Finishing (painting/grouting)
• Yard product placement
• Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Other tasks as needed

Work Environment:

• Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures
• Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
• Work in a noisy environment

Physical Requirements:

• Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequently
• Carrying/Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionally
• Standing / Walking / Climbing
• Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
• Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Experience & Qualifications:

• Able to withstand working indoor and outdoor.
• Must be able to bend and lift to 80 lbs. during a standard shift on a consistent basis
• Experience in concrete and construction work is a plus
