In this General Labor role, you will be responsible for various tasks including machine operation, press and saw operation, racking and unracking of products, possible warehouse functions, use of power tools and computer screens, fabricating, and utilizing hand tools with minor machine repairs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, adding all-around skillsets to their experience base, and has a strong and reliable work ethic with a team-player attitude.
Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To:
- Perform General Labor duties such as loading and unloading materials and parts, moving items within the facility, and assisting with inventory management
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble and disassemble machinery or equipment as needed
- Use power tools, hand tools, computer screens, and machines to cut, shape, or fabricate materials according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and complete minor repairs on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive or manufacturing role preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift or move objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly or for an 8-10 hour shift
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
