Specializing in design-build, new construction, rehabilitation and renovation of commercial, industrial, and municipal projects, CEC boasts a local, experienced workforce who self-perform in variety of trades from carpentry work to concrete paving, steel fabrication & erection, to excavation and more.
CEC is currently seeking a General Construction Laborer based in Clinton, Iowa.
The Laborer is responsible for performing duties that ensure a quality product is being provided in a safe and productive manner. As a Construction Laborer you will be a part of a new “Industrial Construction” team. This work could include assisting with Steel building erection, concrete set-up, shoveling, raking, string-line set-up, steel layout and other physical tasks.

· Do you have a strong understanding of specifications or tolerances (offsets, widths, framing, etc.)?
· Do you have a team player mentality with a “Can-Do” attitude and the desire to be a part of a successful, hard-working team?
· Are you equipped with basic math skills, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals?
· Do you always have a positive approach to new experiences and changes?
· Are you a reliable worker with great attendance?
This position will require some travel to job sites within the Gateway Community. The pay range for this position is subject to your experience in the field.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
