JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a full-time position; $16 to $20 hourly start wage, depending on experience, with room for advancement. Our company encourages growth, and we are willing to train. Experience is preferred, but not necessary.
You can expect tasks to require physical labor.
We erect and assemble prefabricated metal buildings, along with a varied list of other construction tasks:
- This work involves heights, you will learn to use safety equipment.
- This work involves erecting steel frames, insulating and sheeting roofs and walls.
- This work involves cleaning and preparing job sites, clean up of debris, and removal of waste materials.
- This position includes use and care of a variety of hand and power tools, ladders and lifts and may require you learn to use a forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift.
- You may be tasked to work by yourself or to assist other trade skill workers.
Position Type/Expected Hours:
This is a full-time position and frequently requires 10-hour days.
Overtime is paid after 40 hours of work. No weekend work generally required.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This is not a supervisory position.
Essential Functions:
- You will be trained to perform a variety of tasks. It is manual work on commercial construction projects, which may include heavy lifting.
- You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and possess the communication skills to enlist the help of others to lift anything over 50 pounds.
- Daily collection of all tools and equipment to secure the job site and to help eliminate potential hazards and loss of equipment or material is required.
- You will regularly help load and/or unload building materials and/or equipment.
- You will learn proper safety procedures to avoid injury to yourself or to others.
Work Environment:
Work is year-round – inside and outside in conditions that may include cold, heat, exposure to sun, humidity, dust and fumes or airborne particles.
Physical Demands:
These physical demands are representative of those a successful employee needs to perform the basic, essential functions of this job.
This position requires walking and standing for long periods of time, and moving or lifting heavy objects.
Good manual dexterity and coordination is needed. This position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs.

Required Education and Experience:
High school education or GED
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
Post Offer: You must be able to pass a drug test, physical test, and a criminal background check.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local and during the regular business day. There may be occasions when overnight travel is necessary.
