The candidate will Install, configure and maintain networked UNIX, Linux and Windows systems to support mission requirements, perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages in accordance with program directives, monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum level of performance, and maintain system backups and database archives to support data and media recovery.

Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss) .
We are seeking an experienced GCCS-J Administrator for our position in Bellevue, Nebraska.
The candidate that we hire will be expected to perform the following:
Install, configure and maintain networked UNIX, Linux and Windows systems to support mission requirements.
Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages in accordance with program directives.
Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum level of performance.
Maintain system backups and database archives to support data and media recovery.
Maintain user accounts according to government approved procedures.
Provide computer support as needed to resolve hardware/software issues.
Conduct routine hardware and software audits on workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures and configuration guidelines.
Understand, adhere to, and implement established security policies.
Perform proactive and reactive system administration to ensure the availability, integrity, and reliability data and services.
Provide recommendations regarding system performance and capacity planning, including new technologies to enhance current systems and infrastructure.
Requires participation in a rotating schedule for 24x7 support.
Qualifications
Candidate must be able to:
BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10 or 4 or more years relevant work/ military experience in lieu of education.
Install/configure/maintain the Red Hat operating system on VMware virtualization infrastructure
Install/configure/maintain Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 operating systems
Interpret and modify batch, shell, and PowerShell scripts.
Note: Must have a TS/SCI security clearance.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
