GBS Finance Intelligence & Analytics Senior Manager

Your Role at CabotThe GBS Finance Intelligence & Analytics Senior Manager directs Global Business Service (GBS) organization needs in Finance and acts as global strategic partner to GBS accountable to provide transparency and analytics on costs and performance of services delivered so the organization can continuously streamline the service delivery model and maximize efficiency across all services provided globally.This role leads a data and process-mining analytics team focus to drive detailed activity insights as well as finding ways to pilot newer technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence) to assess and enhance performance (through statistical analysis, forecasting and predicting complex trends). The role is accountable for leading the annual budget process and development of the GBS long-range plan assuring that there is a continuous improvement of organization efficiency.

This role also serves as the main liaison to Cabot businesses to allow a clear understanding of the impact of the various service delivery costs with Business Finance Directors and the Management Information Group (MIG).The role has a solid line reporting to GBS SVP and a dotted reporting VP of Process Excellence & Transformation. The role is part of the GBS Leadership Team.This role will be located at any of Cabot's company locations.How You Will Make an ImpactWith entire GBS organization* Advises GBS leadership team on critical financial matters and assists with strategic financial decision making. Communicates business results to Global Finance teams and Corporate Finance when appropriate.* Interprets financial statements, cost data and management control reports to assist all levels of management in appraising their activities in terms of financial results and making decisions.

Provides leadership in the conservation of assets, control of spending and management of cash flow and strategic financial decision making.With Global Process Owners and Delivery Center Leaders* Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess functional unit performance and identify areas for improvement.* Implements reporting mechanisms to provide timely and relevant financial information to stakeholders.* Works proactively with process owners and delivery centers to identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and efficiency gains.* Collaborates on initiatives to enhance overall financial performance and competitiveness.* Financial Modeling:* Develops and maintains financial models to support business decision-making, scenario analysis, and long-term planning.* Conducts sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various factors on financial outcomes.* Identifies and assesses financial risks within services delivered, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.With Business & Corporate team Partnering* Serves as a trusted advisor to process excellence and delivery center leaders, providing financial guidance and support for key initiatives, service delivery costs, and operational decisions.* Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business dynamics and contribute to achieving financial goals.* Collaborates with finance teams, GBS leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of financial processes and alignment with corporate goals.* Works closely with Corporate Controller, Corporate Reporting and R2R Global process owners in developing new reports and data analytics to support any new controls across services offered by GBS.With Financial Planning and Analysis* Collaborates with functional unit leaders to develop, analyze, and communicate financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.* Provides variance analysis and insights to explain financial performance against targets.As Intelligence & Analytics Lead* Leads the GBS data analytics team aiming to maximize data insights that can drive efficiency in a process and/or enhancement on service deliver.* Maintains a rigorous internal control environment. Ensures that requirements are met in an effective and efficient manner with flexibility to adapt to changing business conditions.* Maintains current knowledge of emerging data analytics and AI technologies, to explore how these technologies can contribute to data reporting and or process improvement.* Effectively practices Performance Based Management by coaching and developing employees, direct as well as matrix reports, and assuring effective alignment with the matrix functions.* Attracts and retains talented analysts.What You Will Bring to Cabot* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g. CFA, CPA) is a plus.* Proven experience as a financial business partner.* 10+ years' experience in finance or a related area.* Familiarity with JDE is a plus.* Proven ability to build and motivate a team to achieve well communicated expectations.* Proven leadership skills within the project team and in the business community.* Proven ability to complete projects & deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced work environment.* Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.* Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making and drive positive financial outcomes.* Expert knowledge of financial principles and their applications in a business setting.* Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
