Senior Procurement Manager – Cost Analytics

Our ProcurementSustainability and Supply Chain Strategy department within RWE Renewables in is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager– Cost Analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pricing models for selected categories across Onshore and Offshore businesses
- Implement cost engineering methodologies to support cost estimations (e.g. parametric models, bottom up cost analyses)
- Build a database capturing price/cost points for offshore and onshore packages
- Map and define control processes around cost estimations
- Develop cost benchmarking for onshore and offshore packages
- Support Category Management in taking informed decisions and provide transparency on cost drivers for Management to take investment decisions
- Collaborate and professionally engage with external and internal partners
- Ensure reliable and sustainable relationships with international stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 7+ years direct experience within procurement related to (contracts, pricing, cost estimation or cost modeling)
- Master’s degree in Engineering or other quantitative field
- Data driven and possessing a deep technology understanding
- Comfortable programming in Power BI and relevant suites for cost estimations
- Strong knowledge and experience employing data analytics, cost and value engineering methods
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
- Deep understanding of cost drivers behind major offshore and onshore renewable energy packages procured by energy production companies
- Ideally worked in Utility / IPP / Developers or suppliers of major wind / solar packages (e.g. foundations, wind turbines, electrical / power equipment etc.)
- International work experience, hands on attitude
- Highly independent, systematic, quality- and goal-oriented approach to work as well as broad methodological skills
- Team player with international experience and fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally (40%)
