Provides excellent customer service for visitors on the phone and in-person; collects fees; takes reservations; and prepares daily deposits. May be assigned to either LLELA or Lake Park.
- Monitor a variety of information resources to provide accurate, updated information to visitors.
- Follow instructions, safety practices and standard operating procedures in performing assigned tasks.
- Operate a cash drawer responsibly and accurately record financial data.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with the public and other City personnel in answering questions and relaying information to appropriate parties, both orally and in writing.
- Performs all related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 6 months related experience preferred.
- Any combination of related, education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job is an acceptable substitute for the above specified education and experience requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of:
- Basic knowledge of math and cash handling procedures.
- Perform work outdoors, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
- Work independently with little or no supervision.
- Be punctual and attend work regularly.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
- Work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.
- Perform work accurately and thoroughly, following all instructions, safety practices, and standard operating procedures in performing assigned tasks.
- React appropriately to emergency situations.
- Microsoft Office, Open Office or similar word processing programs, e-mail and the internet.
- Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 20 hours per week as assigned. Weekends required.
