Gate Attendant

The Gate Attendant will protect people and property from possible criminal activity. They are the first contact for many visitors and are expected check in and out people to ensure there is limited and necessary access to Mulholland Energy Services property.

PRIMARY EXPECTATIONS:

· Checks visitors both in and out at the gate

· Patrols and monitors an assigned area

· Verifies employee cards for all employees that enter the premises

· Restricts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties from the premises

· Verifies Pre-Trip Inspection paperwork, prior to allowing Mulholland vehicles to exit that yard

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Checks in visitors at the gate

· Protects access to the property by ensuring each visitor is properly documented and is supposed to be on the property

· Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities

· Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds

· Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency

· After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure

· Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property

· Verifies employee cards for all employees that enter the premises

· Verifies Pre-Trip Inspection paperwork, prior to allowing Mulholland vehicles to exit that yard

· Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives

· Restricts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties from the premises

· Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Security guard training certification preferred.

· Previous experience a plus, but not required.

· Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
