Garden Center Yard Laborer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We currently have a seasonal full time (preferred) or part time Garden Center Yard Laborer position available in our Oshkosh location. This would be a great opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic individual who enjoys working outdoors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help unload and load plants
• Moving and rearranging plant material in the store
• Assisting with plant care
• Additional general labor duties as assigned due to seasonal fluctuations.

BEST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

• Experience in Nursery, Landscape or Garden Center industries preferred
• Experience using a bobcat loader or willingness to learn
• Ability to carry up to 20-30 pounds multiple times during a work day
• Ability to work long hours on your feet
• Ambitious, hard-working, high energy, while always smiling
• Ability to primarily work outdoors
• Pride in your work and with a positive attitude
• Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced seasonal environment
• Strong work ethic
• Demonstrated ability to work with others to achieve the team goals
• Demonstrated willingness to learn

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
