Garden Center Sales Associate

Gee Farms Nursery and Greenhouse, Michigans premier retail Garden Center is looking for an individual to join our. Come work for a nursery like no other in Michigan with our unmatched selection of plants and unique farm market, bakery and Garden Center.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing garden products and supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized Garden Center
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Water plants and ensure they are well-maintained
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
- Provide product knowledge and gardening advice to customers

Requirements:
- Fluent in English, additional languages such as Spanish is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of gardening products, plants, and landscaping techniques is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
