We are currently looking to fill a customer service/cashier position.
We're a locally owned Garden Center nestled in downtown Pflugerville, passionately dedicated to Texas native and adapted plants, with a strong focus on organic gardening techniques. Our expansive greenhouse boasts a vibrant assortment of houseplants, vegetables, fruit trees, and herbs, alongside an array of captivating garden art and pottery. Our customers value our warm, knowledgeable staff and the healthful plants we provide.
Responsibilities:
As a member of our team, you'll need to display the following traits in this customer service role, welcoming visitors with a cheerful demeanor, checking on customers as they shop and ensuring all plants are presentable. Be prepared to embrace the ever-changing Texas weather! Since weekends are bustling at our Garden Center, your availability on these days is essential and required during spring. Your duties will encompass operating the register, maintaining the presentation of our gift and hardware sections, and assisting with restocking merchandise. While prior experience in retail or food service is advantageous, it's not mandatory. This role demands quick-paced activity and requires you to be on your feet throughout the day. While prior knowledge of plants is beneficial, it's not a prerequisite; there's plenty to learn!
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Texas native plants and perennials suitable for central Texas would be advantageous.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $16.00/hour.
