Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapels is a local, family-owned Life Celebration funeral home with a 100+ year legacy of innovation and compassionate care to the families we serve. Serving communities in North Minneapolis, Blaine, and Maple Grove, we seek a forward-thinking, caring & dynamic Funeral Director to join us in serving customers while reinventing and reimagining the future of the funeral industry. The Funeral Director, supported by an amazing team of peers and support staff, participates in managing day-to-day operations, planning, organization, and management

Our ideal candidate is a recent graduate, an experienced director, or an industry veteran that is a compassionate caretaker interested in joining an industry leader offering state-of-the-art facilities, stunning event spaces, and an immersive memorial experience that tells a captivating story about a loved one’s mark on the world.

Responsibilities overview:

· Meet with family members to plan celebration of life ceremonies

· Plan and coordinate funeral details such as writing & preparing obituaries and programs, coordination of details such as readers/speakers & audio-visual programs, lighting, placement of floral arrangements and pictures to ensure a flawless service

· Embalm, dress, cosmetize, and casket the deceased

· Supervise, facilitate and run funeral and memorial services

· Drive funeral vehicles in funeral processions for to make deliveries

· Transport or coordinate the transfer of deceased to the funeral home

· Ensure all paperwork is completed properly and accurately

· Other duties as assigned

Qualified applicants have a Bachelor's Degree and hold a Minnesota Mortuary Science (Mortician) License (or have the ability to obtain). Experience utilizing a case management system such as FrontRunner, along with proficiency with office programs such as Google Suite, Photoshop, Adobe, and video editing, helpful but not required. Kozlak-Radulovich offers an attractive work schedule with every other weekend off, 8:30 to 3PM regular workdays and minimal after-hour requirements. Compensation for this position is based on experience ranges from 50K- 95K+ with an attractive benefits package that includes medical, dental, IRA with match, PTO, paid holidays, and a uniform allowance.
